| The 3rd annual picnic was held over Memorial day weekend at my place. The weather was great and we had about 30 Jeeps. | |
| A highlight is the ramp travel contest. The judges have a ring-side seat! | |
| Here's a shot of mine on the ramp before the party (so no one could laugh) and also a photo of the " tip-over challenge. " No one else volunteered to try this! | |

Probably the best time I've had now in 6 years of going down to Pittsfield was at Durrell and Syndy's Father's Day Run. |
It started out Friday PM when Tony and Mac (with his wife's stock TJ) went out on their own. I went down to watch (entertainment value, don'tcha know!) when Mac pulled a little to far to the right. As I pull up in the Jeep, he looked at me with eyes as big as silver dollars and says " I've got water coming inside my Jeep! " My response: " This is cool, I gotta get a picture. " Well, he got out, got the Jeep dried out and was an excellent sport about the whole thing. Hope his wife was! |
| 9 PM we're all sitting around drinking beer and noticed that Spanky and Sparky were missing. Got on the radio and found they were calling for help. Spanky was stuck - and good. Took two Jeeps to pull him out. We called this " Spanky's Hole " and it provided much entertainment for the next two days as we led unwary Jeepers through the muck. It doesn't look like much in this photo, but the next two where yours truly got stuck, you can see it's DEEP! |

We knew the next day would be great when someone slipped off the bridge. |
| Yeah, there was mud - surprise of surprises! |
| And finally, we got this call on the radio for help and several Jeeps. Seems like this guy found the drop off that Mac found the other day - he just went a little farther. He wanted to stay with the Jeep, just like a good submarine commander. The water was up to his chest! After the water drained out if his gauges and we verified no water got into the cylinders, he got it running. | |

The 4th of July Run was sponsored by Tom and Debbie. Again, great weather and great trails. |
So Spanky pulls up in Tom's driveway and his driveshaft falls apart right in front of the whole group. This was also great entertainment. |
| Here's a photo on Atlas, just before, or maybe after I broke BOTH front springs! |
